Lexar and Cellnet join forces in Flash Memory

Lexar Media, Inc. has appointed leading technology distributor Cellnet as a distributor for New Zealand. The appointment also includes Australia where Cellnet is a leading flash memory distributor. The partnership will see Cellnet supply Lexar’s full suite of products, including the Kodak brand, to the retail and telecommunications market.

Lexar Media Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Micron Technology Inc., boasts one of the most comprehensive offerings of memory product lines in the industry. Lexar delivers high-quality, award-winning products in every memory category including USB flash drives, the full range of memory cards, readers, and DRAM computer memory suitable for netbooks, PC’s and Mac’s.

Richard Clarke, National Sales Manager for Lexar in Australia and New Zealand, said Cellnet’s expansive distribution reach and strong focus on flash memory was a key driver behind the deal. “Cellnet is a value-added reseller with national sales presence throughout Australia and New Zealand. They will provide us with deeper penetration into our priority markets of telco and retail.
